Barbara Goldberg began experiencing hair loss at the age of 10 due to Alopecia Areata. By 17, she needed permanent hair replacement. Her personal experiences led to the creation of Hair Response, Inc., in 1985. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, Barbara has undergone surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Because of early detection, she is a breast cancer survivor and an advocate for other women.
|“No matter what the reason for hair loss, I understand how it feels. Those feelings are always the same and can emotionally cripple or be the impetus for greater growth. Hair loss need not be negatively life altering. Believe, me, I know.”
