Are you a licensed hairdresser looking for something different and meaningful outside of a traditional salon setting? At Hair Response, Inc. you can be part of our caring and experienced team of specialists, helping people who are experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, radiation, alopecia, thinning hair from thyroid conditions, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, genetic thinning, very fine or problematic hair, surgery, or a need for more volume and density.

The role

We're expanding our team as the business continues to grow, and we're looking for one Styling Specialist to join us.

What you'll do

Work one-on-one with clients to customize — cut, style, thin and shape — wigs and toppers.
Service wigs and toppers: washing and styling synthetic and human hair pieces, coloring and perming human hair, de-frizzing and rewaving synthetic hair, and other services as needed.
Teach clients how to care for their hair loss solutions, both human hair and synthetic.

What you bring

Licensed hairdresser with 5+ years of experience.
Hands-on experience with synthetic and human hair wigs and toppers, and all types of hair loss solutions. Not required, but helpful.
Willingness to train in Hair Response's methods of wig care and styling.
Strong communication skills, genuine empathy for clients facing hair loss, and patience.

For over 40 years, Hair Response has specialized in custom-fitted wigs, toppers and hair loss solutions, providing personalized service from our private studio in north Arlington Heights, IL. We work with clients facing chemotherapy, alopecia, thinning hair and other forms of medical hair loss, offering cranial prosthetics and both human hair and synthetic pieces, along with the personalized, judgment-free consultations you won't find at a retail wig shop or a traditional salon.

Our goal is simple: inform, educate and empower every client who walks through our door, so they leave feeling confident and continue to feel like themselves.
